Justin Stratton

Justin Stratton is an 18 year old senior. He likes music and playing the guitar. This is his first year in Journalism and he is writing for the A&E Department. After High School he is attending Ferris State University with a major in Music Management.

Alexis Kraley

Lexi Kraley is a sometimes- senior at Hesperia High School. She is ecstatic about her first semester in Journalism class and even more so about graduation. Afterwards, she hopes to head south in order to pursue a degree in Psychobiology.

Alyssa Lynn

Alyssa is a 16 year old junior at Hesperia High School. Alyssa is a big fan of cheerleading. This is her first year in Journalism; she’s a writer for the A&E section. After high school, she wants to go to GVSU for college.

Travess Smith

Travess is a freshman this year and plans to do well academically. He loves wrestling and running. He participates in cross country, track, and wrestling. Smith also loves the sports of hunting and fishing and the outdoors. 

Paige Siersema

Paige Siersema is a junior at Hesperia High School. She has lived in Hesperia all of her life. This is her first year on staff with the Panther Press. She plays softball in the spring and volleyball in the fall. She enjoys being with her friends and family.

Robert Grundel

Robert Grundel is a senior at Hesperia High School,\. He is looking forward to his first year of journalism. He is a three year starter on the Hesperia varsity baseball team and also has a love of writing. Robert eventually wants to attend Central Michigan University to pursue a degree in Philosophy.

Hannah Griffes

Hannah Griffes is a senior at Hesperia High School. This is her second year in Journalism, writing for the Student Life section. Her hobbies are sleeping, eating animals, and playing Modern Warfare 2. She is looking forward to graduating in May.

Nathan Murphy

Nathan Murphy is a senior at Hesperia High School and a first time journalism student. He is currently playing football for the mighty Panthers and hopes to move on to college football someday. In the meantime, Nathan hopes to get admitted to a four year college and earn a degree in a career that involves the medical field.

Jade Burdick

Jade Burdick is a senior taking journalism for the first time. She is an editor for the Panther Press. She plans on going to Aquinas for college and in her free time she draws, writes and reads.

Nathan Fairchild

Nathan is a 16 year old  senior at Hesperia High School. He enjoys hanging out with his friends and family. He is also addicted to his phone and after he gets out of school he is going to invent a remote control that has a pager button on it.

Mike Agens

Mike Agens is a 16-year old junior at Hesperia High School. He has been in Hesperia all of his life and doesn’t plan on leaving. Mike loves to run.  This is his first year in journalism and he is a photographer for the Student Life section. He plans to go to college after he graduates. He is undecided on what college he would like to attend.

Hanna Clark

Hanna Clark is a junior at Hesperia High School. This is her first year writing for the Panther Press. She is 15 years old. With online classes she has managed to skip two grades over the summer. Hanna would like to eventually leave Hesperia. She enjoys reading & politics.

Mercedes Kraus

Mercedes Kraus is a senior, first-year journalist, and one of the editors of the HHS Panther Press. Mercedes loves Jesus, enjoys singing, horseback riding, and reading, and is a self-proclaimed Grammar Nazi. 

Dillon Dyer

Dillon Dyer is a junior at Hesperia High School and is a first-year journalism student.  He plays the saxophone in the Hesperia High School marching and concert bands, and will be writing for the A&E section of the paper.  His main interests include cars, photography, music, and reading.

Cayla Broton

Cayla Broton is a junior at Hesperia High School. This is her first year in journalism, and she is a sports writer. She spends her days playing volleyball, basketball, or softball, depending on the season. In a word, she is awesome. 

Daniel Lash

Daniel Lash is currently a junior in Hesperia High School. He has lived in Hesperia for his whole life. This is his first year on staff for Panther Press. He plays basketball in the winter and baseball in the spring. He loves to hang out with his friends and family all the time.

Nick Nielsen

Nick Nielsen is currently a junior at Hesperia High School. This is his first year on the Panther Press and he is very excited to be on the staff. He plays many sports including wrestling, cross country and golf. He enjoys hunting and hanging out with friends and family.
