Welcome to the first ever online edition of the Panther Press. This online paper represents a radical departure from previous newspapers produced by journalism classes at Hesperia. We truly feel as if we are venturing into unknown and previously uncharted territory.
We are excited (and a little nervous) about publishing the first online newspaper in school history. Therefore, we ask your patience as we begin to learn and explore the multitudinous opportunities the web provides. We fully realize that some of the ideas we will try will land with a resounding thud. But, we also feel that the benefits far outweigh the risks involved.
Some of the exciting features you may notice are: color photos, online polls, more immediate news and feature coverage, and the ability to access past stories.
Please excuse our dust as we try to build a paper that both the students and staff of Hesperia Community Schools can proudly call ours.
