Alice in wonderland is a movie about a fight over strength, power, and destiny. Do you believe in destiny? What about not knowing that there is a greater power than you? When Alice (Mia wasikowska) turns 19 years-old she finds herself stuck in a magical land from her childhood, where she reunites with the old friends that she had no idea that she even had. These friends include: Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp.), Tweedledee and Tweedledum (Matt Lucas), Chesire Cat (Stephen Fry), White Rabbit (Michael Sheen), and Absolem the Caterpillar (Alan Rickman). This is where she learns of her true destiny, where she must put an end to the Red Queen’s (Helena Bonham Carter) Reign of terror. This is Tim Burton’s latest movie, after Sweeny Todd and Corpse Bride.
Alice in wonderland was first made by Walt Disney as an animated classical masterpiece in 1951; this movie went from animated masterpiece to motion picture directed by Tim Burton. Shortly after Alice in Wonderland (1951) came Peter Pan another masterpiece by Walt Disney.
If you have the time and the money I suggest you see this movie it is a great movie. Who do you think will win this battle for power? Alice or the Red Queen?
