The Who playing at the superbowl

Last Sunday’s performance of The Who at the Super Bowl sadly had most fans, and even lead singer, Roger Daltrey, disappointed. Considering their age to be a big factor of their performance, The Who’s twelve minute set became “The What”. Although these guys aren’t what they used to be, they still had the spirit they had forty years ago in their prime playing sections of their hit songs, Pinball Wizard, Baba O’ Reilly, Who Are You, Won’t Get Fooled Again, and to kick off the finale, Tommy. Though Daltrey wasn’t happy with the performance, guitarist Pete Townshend disagreed. Townshend thought their performance was good. Even though Daltry and Townshend are in their 60s, they rocked out hard and showed that age plays no factor in the rock and roll spirit.
